Smart Home Monitoring for Enhanced Daily Living
Data Inspired Living consists of an online dashboard, which provides a view of routines using various small, discreet sensors that are placed around the home. These small sensors help to build a day-to-day picture of someone's normal routine, so if the sensors detect anything that might fall outside the norm such as missed medication or a reduction in movement around the home, an alert can be raised and investigated by either Hertfordshire Assistive Technology practitioners or a family member or carer.

The main aim of Data Inspired Living is to identify emerging issues and put in relevant support at an early stage to reduce the likelihood of that issue from becoming embedded and needing a crisis intervention.

There are lots of ways that technology can help you around your home - from reminding you to take your medication to getting help if you fall and can't reach the phone. Devices can be standalone, linked to family or carers, or they can be connected to a team of trained advisors in a monitoring centre who will ensure you get the support you need.
